Job Description:

Responsibilities:

• Develop, review, and execute functional test cases based on business and functional requirements.
• Validate software functionality across various environments and platforms to ensure compliance with specifications. Conduct manual testing to identify defects, inconsistencies, and deviations from expected functionality.
• Collaborate with development teams to replicate issues and validate fixes.
• Participate in requirement analysis sessions to align testing strategies with business goals.
• Provide detailed, well-structured defect reports with reproduction steps, severity, and impact analysis.
• Perform end-to-end functional testing, including integration and system testing.

Required Skills:

• 10+ years of manual testing experience with a focus on functional testing.
• Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
• Proficiency in test management tools like JIRA and TestRail.
• Experience writing and executing test cases, test plans, and defect reports.
• Basic knowledge of database queries (SQL) for backend validation.
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for reporting and stakeholder interaction.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with test automation frameworks such as Selenium or Cypress.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Exposure to API testing tools like Postman or SoapUI.
• Knowledge of performance testing tools (optional).
