About ATAC Textron Systems - ATAC provides tactical flight training and adversary aggressor services for U.S. Navy, Marine and Air Force pilots, and is the only organization certified to train the Navy’s TOPGUN program. ATAC operates simultaneously across eight sites and two continents and comprises the world’s largest outsourced civilian, tactical airborne training organization and proudly provides the highest quality live training to Squadrons, Air Wings, and Battle Groups. ATAC was the first civilian organization authorized to train the USAF’s F-22 Raptors.
Summary The Production Supervisor guides and supervises the overall production of hangar/flight line maintenance actions for Airborne Tactical Advantage Company. The Production Supervisor leads all maintenance efforts while supporting company objectives, developing and empowering maintenance team supporting company requirements on a daily basis. The Production Supervisor reports to and assists the Maintenance Manager in all matters pertaining to maintenance actions, policies, and programs for assigned maintenance personnel.

Job Responsibilities - Manage personnel and equipment in the direct support of ATAC aircraft maintenance and flight operations
- Oversees Maintenance efforts in support of company flight operations, requirements and commitments
- Accountable for maintenance team production and performance
- Coordinating and scheduling all maintenance/upkeep actions
- Provides maintenance guidance to aircraft “Leads”
- Coordinate detachment requirements with Director of Operations, Deputy Director of Operations, and Director of Maintenance Operations.
- Implement over-time management IAW company policy and maintenance department requirements
- Supervising and leading ATAC Maintenance Team efforts in flight operations at Cherry Point, Beaufort, and all detachment sites
- Aviation maintenance management program management
- Ensure accuracy of data input
- Track Time between Overhaul components
- Monitors Training of maintenance personnel
- Aircraft Specific professional
- OSHA
- FAA Safety
- Provides Oversight on the following maintenance programs
- Quality Assurance
- Safety
- Administrative
- Publications
- Logistics/HAZMAT
- Government Furnished Equipment
- Organizational and space planning
- Prepare performance assessments
- Additional responsibilities as delineated by Maintenance Manager
Qualifications Required: - 10 years of experience
- FAA A&P Certification OR military equivalency
- Proficient in a supervisory/lead role
- Capable of communicating effectively with both leadership and subordinates
- Responsible for prioritizing, performing, and supervising multiple complex maintenance functions as assigned
Desired: - 5 years of supervisory experience
- FAA A&P Certification or FAA Inspection Authority (IA) strongly desired
- Experience coordinating effort for personnel performing work on airframe, avionics, and engine systems
- Experience managing aircraft maintenance operations at multiple dispersed temporary sites
- Designating aircraft “safe for flight” or equivalent
