Position Summary:

Brandeis Universityâ™s Institutional Advancement (IA) Division is on the lookout for a dynamic, self-motivated professional to join our Prospect Research team as a Senior Prospect Research Analyst. This pivotal role, reporting to the Associate Director of Prospect Research and Pipeline Development, is your chance to contribute to the identification and engagement of major donor prospects, driving the mission and growth of Brandeis University.

As a Senior Prospect Research Analyst, you'll be at the heart of our Prospect Development efforts. Your work will involve in-depth research and analysis to help expand our major donor pool, provide strategic insights, and support the implementation of a comprehensive Prospect Development program. Youâ™ll manage projects, mentor junior staff, and ensure our research products meet the highest standards of quality and customer service.

Who You Are:
Educational Background: Bachelorâ™s degree required; Masterâ™s preferred. Background in marketing research, sales, financial analysis, library science, or related fields.
Experience: 5-7 years in advancement research, prospect management, fundraising, or equivalent experience. Competency with Apraâ™s Advanced Prospect Research Skill Sets and experience with high-capacity philanthropic prospects preferred.
Skills: Exceptional research, writing, and analytical skills. Proficiency in computer technologies, database management, and electronic subscription services. Strong judgment, discretion, and commitment to data security.
Attributes: Detail-oriented, self-starter with excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple projects. Collaborative, customer-service oriented, and willing to work occasional evenings and weekends.
