As a NEPA Specialist/Environmental Planner, you will be responsible for the following:

Lead the coordination and management of assigned NEPA-related projects within the firm.
Implement effective strategies to complete and streamline environmental documentation.
Coordinate with state and federal resource agencies.
Plan, direct, and monitor all aspects of small to large multidiscipline projects with a high degree of technical complexity.
Prepare and review technical analyses and documents, proposals, and/or qualifications information.
Perform financial management of environmental planning, permitting, and compliance tasks and projects.
Provide support and expertise for environmental planning and permitting.
Maintain an understanding of emerging regulations and industry requirements.
Work closely with business development and project delivery teams to win and deliver projects.
Develop execution strategies for planning and permitting projects.
Mentor staff to expand their understanding of technical and business aspects.

Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Environmental Planning, Urban Planning, Environmental Science, or related field; professional certification/license is preferred (e.g.,
AICP, PWS, Certified Ecologist, CP).
Seven (7) years of experience in the environmental field.
Knowledge of the Endangered Species Act, National Historic Preservation Act, Clean Water Act, Clean Air Act.
Ability to manage study specialists and sub-consultants.
Demonstrates creativity, foresight, and mature judgment in anticipating and solving problems.
Ability to effectively manage concurrent projects and deadlines.
Strong teambuilding skills.
Strong presentation and interpersonal communication skills.
Excellent writing, editing, and verbal communication skills required.
Able to collaborate with other design disciplines.
