In Home Caregiver Village Caregiving - Bowling Green Description of the role We are currently seeking dedicated and compassionate individuals to join our team as In Home Caregivers. The primary responsibility of this role is to provide assistance and support to elderly and disabled individuals in their own homes. Responsibilities

• Assisting with activities of daily living, such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
• Providing medication reminders
• Assisting with light housekeeping and meal preparation
• Accompanying clients to appointments and outings
• Monitoring and documenting clients' health conditions

Requirements

• Prior experience in caregiving or a related field
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to prioritize and multitask
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability to pass a background check and drug test

RESPONSIBILITIES

* Help clients take prescribed medication * Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks etc.) * Assist clients with personal care and hygiene * Help clients complete physical therapy and other recommended exercises * Do the client’s shopping or accompany them when they shop if needed * Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can’t complete on their own, including preparing meals * Collect information about conditions and treatment plans from caregivers, nurses, doctors and family members * Report any unusual incidents to nurses, doctors and family members * Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency

REQUIREMENTS
