Salary Range: $100,000.00 - $116,400.00
*As required under NYC Human Rights Law Int 1208-2018 - Salary range for this role when Hired for NYC Offices
Position Summary Provides the full scope of acupuncture services for patients and education for the staff and community, with the goal of enhancing patients' well-being and quality of life.
Job Responsibilities - Conducts acupuncture educational sessions for patients, clinicians and community groups.
- Conducts one-on-one acupuncture consultations, group acupuncture sessions, and acupressure.
- Develops and maintains a portfolio of acupuncture educational materials for clinicians and patients, using print and non-print media.
- Documents detailed visit summaries in the electronic medical record and plan for patient follow-up
- Provides education to patients, clients, community groups, and staff on the benefits of acupuncture
- Works primarily with outpatients, but may also work with hospitalized patients
- Complies with all WCM policies and procedures, and adheres to HIPAA regulations.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Education Experience Approximately 2-4 years of acupuncture experience.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities - Ability to exercise standards of professionalism, including appearance, presentation and demeanor.
- Ability to demonstrate excellent customer service skills in person, via email and on the telephone.
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).
Licenses and Certifications - Current acupuncture license in state of New York.
- Graduate of an acupuncture program accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (ACAOM).
